LIVE TRAVEL ADVENTURE

image

How many times have you seen someone travelling around the world with only a backpack, and a wide grin  says “freedom’s worth living ” and you need to get some of it?

I am sure you want to live a life full of adventure and never stop on your way.

Most of the people do, most people think that the idea of doing it is too hard in the basket ,i.e.,they are lucky to be wealthy.

Most people think how could it be possible for people with an average income, or low to travel the world for weeks, months ,or even years .

               IT  CAN  BE  DONE

I left my home at the age of 18 after graduating from school with a backpack, and few sum of money(to be honest I took it from my dad for college but never went there). I have been travelling since then.

I have created a life of my own “A
LIFE OF TRAVEL “. This does not mean that I am travelling endlessly from one place to another. In the course of lifetime travel it is required to stock up again before moving. It is nesscesary to earn some money which can be possible through part time jobs available at that place, through freelancer websites such as elance, odesk, craigslist, etc. We will discuss about this later.

Actually the stops on the way acts as the discovery and a centre of fun and enjoyment.

We all know that a nomad constantly changes location, switching from one place to another. More have some kind of place that they can call home, which is usually where their family or friends live, but they wouldn’t spend more than few weeks or months there. Nor would they settle down in a new home, they just keep on changing a place, never feeling really at home. This actually might be tough since everyone needs some stability and a comfort zone. Being a nomad, you never really have a feeling of your own home. Your place to live belongs to someone else’s (i.e. hostel, motels or friend’s residence).

There are several advantages of living a nomadic lifestyle. You can read more here about why would you like to take the decision and become a nomad
Advantages of lifetime travel “.

We have developed a lifestyle of travel and adventure. It’s what we do everyday.
When we are settled we still have our travel attitude on which is a major part of lifetime travel.

THERE ARE FEW THINGS THAT HAS TO KEEP IN MIND AS A TRAVELLER

Avoiding attachments– A traveller breaks away from her/his attachments before taking the journey, and stays away from attachments while realizing this unique lifestyle. So, what is an attachment? The answer is clear, anything that keeps you away from realizing the travelling lifestyle. Let’s make it even clearer, it is anything you have (or usually think you have) and can’t give up on.  The perfect job that you can never find again, the dog you love so much and can’t leave behind, the amazing girlfriend that will not agree to join you traveling. A quick interesting insight- if you have those, and feel happy, don’t give up on them. But if they are not perfect and don’t really make you happy, say goodbye to all your fake attachments and either find better attachments, or choose the travelling path instead.

Travel light – Travel light, your bag is your home, but since home is not that important, you better off be free and “things” are an attachments as well (if you can’t afford to lose an item in your bag, you can’t leave it alone, thus you are not free).

Be Smart – Travellers usually become quite smart, with fresh perspective (A consultant or a guru in a way). The reason for that is clear, they are exposed to many lifestyles, cultures and situations. This constant process of change is a great learning experience, and when you learn, you become smarter.

Don’t take life seriously – Travellers don’t take life very seriously. Think about it. If you keep on changing, and keep on losing everything you had in a prior place after you changed to a new place, then the basic understanding dawns on you: “everything is temporary and nothing is yours”. After you understand that, you can’t really take life too seriously, even if you tried… When I was younger, I had a big problem with accepting life’s “little surprises” (the negative ones), since I was used to my routine, and things working out. Alas, even if you are not a traveller, everything is changing and some for the worse.  Every time there was just one thing that didn’t go according to plan, I became very frustrated.  Since I’ve become a traveller, life taught me that it was an illusion.  In a way, this journey of travel changes you from within and is recommended for people who have some kind of a problem accepting things the way they are (even though the journey may be difficult.

Do you want to live and travel in Australia? Here is our complete guide to the Australian working holiday visa.

How to earn money while travelling
There’s nothing so good as traveling and working at the same time. Not only will you make money as you go, but you’ll get an opportunity to experience travel in a way most others won’t. And you won’t have to worry about spending your savings. Never let work be a barrier to travel: if you do it right, you can take your job with you.

Here are few ways :

1. Street performance
Dance, music, art: whatever skills you have on the side — or weird body parts that you don’t mind showing off for money — the right corner on the right street will get you a few dollars. Busking your skills topped off with painting yourself in silver may earn you enough to get a meal and a room in a hostel for the night. Try not to break any local laws regarding public decorum, or you may earn a fine or worse! Research in advance for this one.

2. Freelancing or tutoring
I suggest this is the best way way of earning money while travelling.

Depending on your job, something like web developer or engineering consultant is a great way to earn cash as you go. Have access to your portfolio online so you can grab opportunities as they arrive. Or, put your profile up on
elance and go get ‘em! Tutoring can include dance, singing, languages, math and other school subjects. Make connections through Facebook groups and get referred by local ex-pats for a better rate of success with temporary tutoring placements.

If you’re not too worried about when you will be picked up for a job, set up profiles on odesk or fiverr to earn pocket money. Try to make your profile niche-specific so that you don’t get lost in the thousands of other similar profiles.

3. Get a job with an international travelling show
Join a circus, music band, dance show, or theater performance … there are all kinds of jobs going at these types of touring organizations. Sure, it’ll be tough and you’ll have almost no free time, but if your goal is pure travel then it’s worth a shot. The interesting people you are sure to meet along the way will be worth it!

SAVE WELL AND MAKE SMART DECISIONS

It’s all about how you choose to spend. Is that luxury 5 star accommodation really worth it, especially if you are out exploring from sunrise to twinkling stars? Can you go the comfy 3 star and have a little extra cash for the fun stuff?

Do you need to eat in a restaurant for three meals a day or can you cook your own breakfast and settle for a picnic lunch?

What about that city tour, couldn’t you do a self-guided one?

The better you get at spending, the more you will have a life of travel. Click to read ideas on ways to save money on travel.

Just be careful that when you create more money, you don’t suddenly start spending more! Take the extra cash and put it in your travel fund.

MAKE YOUR LIFESTYLE

Digital travellers and those creating their own travel lifestyles are becoming more common. If you want a life of travel, discover how you can make it happen.

How are other people doing it?Could you do the same? What special skills and talents do you have? What jobs could you work that involve travel? How can you create your own business that gives you the freedom to say where and when?

Want another creative way to be able to travel and live abroad? Try this.

I created this travel blog because I. wanted travel to be my lifestyle. My working holiday visa options was up (due to age) so I have to discover a new path. My life of travel now continues because of my online business.

FOCUS
Many people want a life of travel, but they don’t make it their focus.

You don’t always have to travel far and wide. There are plenty of ways you can make travel a focus of your everyday life.

Once you start focusing on something, you start planning, and then usually the Universe helps you by bringing what you need to make it happen.

The small steps start to grow bigger and before you know it you are living the life of travel you thought was only possible for the lucky ones.

WHY TRAVEL
Constant travel is tough. I often want to quit, but I never will because I have this in my DNA–a gigantic urge that only travel can fill.

I’m happy to ride on the back of a pick up, or sleep in a van, and eat two minute noodles for weeks, if it means I can continue to explore and experience newness every day.

There’s no other life that makes sense for me so I continue to leap over the hurdles.

For many people a life of travel would suck!Different strokes for different folks. You have to decide WHY you are traveling. What burning need are you trying to fulfill? How will this life of travel make a difference and why is this important to you?

Work that out all your paths will fall into place.

ONE SHOULD HAVE A DEFINITE PATH

Is it constant travel from one country to the next you yearn for? Or is it a slower form, with frequent pauses for a sampling of the “settled” life before travel calls you back on the road?

Or do you want to just have more travel, even if it is only an extra 2-3 weeks a year?

That life of travel you desire can be yours. See our e-Book for more guidance.
